hey there friends and thank you so much for visiting my page =) In a few short words I am a 19 year old English major at Sacred Heart University with a passion for family, love, creativity, yoga, and i kind of like peanut butter too ;). Sure, those are just a few tidbits about me but what is the story of the girl behind the jar?

I’m so happy that yesterday’s post inspired a lot of my amazing readers to delurk! **Hi friends! It’s so wonderful to have you around these parts :) **

I definitely understand the desire to just be a passive reader and browse your favorite blogs without commenting (I do this all the time!) but sometimes it’s really nice to hear from some new folks, so thank you for coming to PB&J and more importantly – coming in to my life. New friends make me smile :)

~~

This morning I had an early meeting with my academic advisor to plan the next three years of my life. Totally normal, right? Unfortunately the meeting left minimal time for breakfasting, and consequently – minimal time for breakfast photographing.

*Insert picture of oats with greek yogurt, berries, and almond butter here*

I also wasn’t able to get in a morning workout, as I usually do, which put a major strain on my motivation later in the day. There’s just something so rewarding about knocking out a killer work out early in the morning and getting all of those yummy endorphins pumping. I also find that the longer I prolong working out, the less time I have to do it, and the more rushed I feel. I hate that! I managed to fit in a 45 minute incline walk + some stretching, followed by a later than usual lunch.

spinach salad (at least, I think there was some spinach underneath all of that other yuminess) with tofu, hummus, chia seeds, sugar snap peas snow peas, carrots, ‘shrooms, triscuits, whole wheat dinner lunch roll with guacamole.

I realized that I accidentally bought snow peas rather than sugar snap peas the other day. Woops! They essentially taste the same (in fact, I have no idea what the difference is) but the snow peas are just so flat and lack the refreshing crunch of their sugar-snappy brother.

Poor me — having to workout in the afternoon AND eat flat veggies. Seriously, how do I survive? My life is so unfortunate.

**cough**sarcasm**cough**

Oh! I also wore this today.
Yesterday my fashion inspiration was the star of a child’s cartoon show, today, apparently, it’s a bumble bee.

  • White long sleeve v-neck: Forever 21
  • Black cami: American Eagle
  • Black spandex: Forever 21
  • White and yellow striped vest: TJMaxx
  • Grey over the knee rain boots: Bakersshoes.com (which were not on sale when I bought them a few months ago. Hmphhh)

Is is weird to wear rain boots when it’s not raining?

I also wore this beanie to add a  little something special to the outfit (in other words, didn’t have time to shower this morning). I love!

When is your ideal time to exercise? How do you manage to fit time for working out in to a busy schedule? I know a few dudes who actually prefer working out at night (we’re talking 10pm). I can’t even imagine! My bum doesn’t move after like, 8pm. (well aside from dragging itself to the kitchen, naturally)

What the heck is the difference between sugar snap peas and snow peas? I could probably google it in two seconds but I like hearing from you :)

Have a fabulous night beauties!
