Usually when you choose the healthier version of a rich and yummy food, you give up something. But my husband wasn’t ready to give up the taste of his beloved mayonnaise when he encountered cholesterol issues, and conventional reduced fat and fat-free versions drew a resounding “Yecch.” Then we found Vegenaise’s egg-free mayonnaise - even better than the traditional kind, richer and more delicious. He loves the reduced fat version, which also has the flaxseed oil he’s supposed to include in his diet. I’m addicted to the Grapeseed mayo, but I’ve sampled the original, organic and high omega varieties. We get the our refrigerated supply once a month and it’s all delivered from a fully solar powered food plant that’s been in business nearly 40 years - what’s not to like?
