Upon opening the box of Nature's Path Organic Crunchy Maple Sunrise, I noticed a great maple aroma. I was excited already- I happen to really enjoy maple! After looking at the actual cereal, I noticed that there was actually a lot to it! There were several and different types of cereal pieces that all added a nice crunch and great maple flavor. For example, there were tiny ball shaped pieces, and pieces of puffed rice, that were mild in flavor, but added a good texture. The flakes were my favorite part of the mix, as they were the crispiest and the sweetest. As a whole, I enjoyed the cereal. It wasn't super sweet, but had just the right amount of sweetness, with a real maple flavor. As a cereal lover, I was a bit disappointed that the serving size was only 2/3 of a cup, but it was still pretty good. I enjoyed it the most dry, and with some yogurt as well. As an added note- I like that this cereal was gluten free, too!
