At least 1/2 inch thick, and chewy? Yes indeed! My first thought was, not bad, but is it a religious experience? Not really. I had hoped for more of a chocolate taste, me being a chocoholic. But between the guys and gals here, it was determined it truly is more of a GUY cookie--maybe because of it's size which is ginormous. But then again, the more I ate, the MORE I wanted to eat. So perhaps for me, an acquired taste. And truly a cookie that any woman would not finish in one sitting (or shall we say SHOULDN'T finish! Guys gave it a 5, girls gave it a 4. But definitely a nice natural, REALLY natural cookie.
