Imagine crunching your teeth into this: a crispity-crunchy lime peel with a hint of sweet pineapple. Unfortunately, the result was not as promising as we would have liked. Funky Monkey’s Jive Lime was my least favorite variety, and if you don’t like lime, steer clear. The fusion of pineapple didn’t redeem the overall flavor. The sweetness was hidden under the rind taste, but the tropical pineapple flavor did shine through subtly in the after taste. Even if you’re fan of lime or pineapple, this might not be your best bet.
