Figs, and, chocolate? An unlikely combination in my eyes, yet a good one, indeed. The Dark Chocolate Covered Almond Fig Bar made by Figamajigs was both unique and tasty. There was a sweet and smooth chocolate on the outside, which I actually mistook for milk chocolate at first. It really wasn't bitter as I find dark chocolate can sometimes be, but rather sweet with a slight fruity taste. On the inside, there was the chewy and rather dense fig. The fig itself was a bit gritty in texture, and sort of stuck in my teeth as I chewed it. The almond pieces in this bar neither took away or really added to the taste. If anything it provided a little bit of crunch. Overall, I really actually enjoyed this bar. I LOVE that it has 4 grams of fiber per bar, and actually was quite satisfying!
