I was really excited to find this unusal blend of lentils and fruit and expected nothing less than something rich and filling, aromatic and delicious. As soon as I opened the can, however, I was greeted with what looked like mush and all presence of anything remotely looking like a lentil was gone. So, I tasted it, uncooked, and it wasn't bad. Fruity, lentily, with a bit of an Indian flavor due to the turmeric that was liberally used as seasoning. But, because I really wanted that lentil texture, I decided to wrap it up for tomorrow's lunch...when I was a little less hungry. Carrots and other vegetables so beautifully photographed on the can, were not so visible once it was dumped in the pot. Sorry not to be able to rant about how great it is, but really, give me WHOLE LENTILS in a lentil soup. Not a bowl of mush.
